Home
My own children have been involved in either full-day
care or a nursery, so I have personally experienced the sort of difficulties faced
by parents who want the best care for their children. I have also had to make difficult decisions.
Finding good childcare is not easy. I wanted a nursery that was small enough for the children to get to know everyone and make friends. It had to be in a place where they could play in the fresh air and enjoy the surroundings, not remain within the same room all day. I did not want to leave them in a large, impersonal nursery.
I took the best of my experiences, I developed Sixpenny. This is childcare based on sound knowledge and experience, in settings that are purposely small so that we can get to know each child individually. The environment is homely, loving, comfortable and traditional, and in locations that I wish I had found for my own children.
Come and see for yourself. I think you will like what you see
Best Wishes
